When did women start wearing veils on their hats?

I recently bought a hat with a veil and I wanted to positive about what year it is from so I know what kind of oufit it will go with. The veil covers my unbroken face and is soft and the hat does not tilt it sits slow on my head. I know there isn't a lot of information.

We Euphemistic pre-owned to wear those in the '40's and '50's.
