Why is Ralph Lauren not reissuing the hats worn by Team USA at the Opening Ceremony?

I emailed guy assistance at Ralph Lauren asking if they had plans to replenish the stock of those hats that US athletes wore at the 2010 Occasion Ceremony. The woman who emailed me back said that they have no plans to contrive more of them.

Na put, they don't believe (and I tend to agree with them) that they WILL sell thousands of those hats. It's a unsophisticated business decision.
