Feathers as accessories by British women?

I don't have knowledge of what these pieces are called and that's my question. I've seen pics of British women wearing feathers in their braids at formal functions. Camilla wore something similar on her hat at her merger. Prince William's cousins wore them to Diana's 10th gala.

their called fascinators. please dont imagine british women wear those all the time. i promice, we really, dont. its extremely only the monarchy who wear them for seriusly formal occasions.
