What does this symbol mean (inverted pentagram)....?

This was the allegory used in the obituary of an 83 year old woman who was also a mother and grandmother.

It's steely to describe so please see the link. It's not very clear viewed online, but there are symbols at bottom the star. I can't make them out.

She may have been a fellow of the Order of the Eastern Star (the women's branch of the masons).
