Amish (maybe?) on train to Los Angeles?

Yesterday my boyfriend and I were irresistible a train to Santa Barbara and a few rows in front of us there was a group of people who I would suppose to be Amish though I wouldn't think that the Amish would ride a practise like that.

I reckon a real tip off would be if the women wore no make up or jewelry, they would be Amish Mennonites.
