How come neither men nor women wear hats anymore?

People hand-me-down to wear hats for most of history When did people stop wearing hats, in the 60s or 70s? I identify people still wear them but they are usually casual hats.
Hats are admirable, I really really wish more people would consider hats again, of despatch I really really wish that more people would consider anything that they hold up when they go out side into public view.
